SELF-PUBLISHED CALENDAR PROJECT

We used the publishing services of Lulu.com to produce a full-color, professionally printed 2008 desk calendar that features the work of every student in my Typography I class at MICA (Fall 2007).

Designing the double-page spreads was a great exercise in pure typography (grid + hiearchy), and we added "illustrations" throughout that interpret words and letterforms. You can download a pdf from Lulu for free, or order a copy of the book to see the quality of printing. This is a great resource for graphic design educators.

Project specs are included on last page of booklet.
