Practical and Fun (rating 4 out of 5):
I bought this notebook in a bookshop in London, on a whim, to use on holiday. I enjoyed using it. The pages are good thick paper. The book opens flat and is durable. The neat and precise grids are a stimulant to neat and precise note-making. I used them for drawings, observations, lists, knitting patterns, and account-keeping. There are no page numbers, which I would have found useful, and the paper was OK for drawing pens, and ballpoint, but not great for fountain pen, which bled through a bit. I liked the fact that the front cover is different from the back cover, so you always open it the right way up. All in all, a practical and fun way to keep records, make observations. I enjoyed filling the pages.
