Steven Heller is co-chair of the MFA Design Department at New York's School of Visual Arts. He is the author of many books on graphic design, most recently Handwritten, New Vintage Type and New Ornamental Type, all published by Thames & Hudson. Lita Talarico is the founding editor of American Illustration & Photography and the other co-chair of the MFA Design Department at the School of Visual Arts. She is also reporter-atlarge for Italian Design Graphics.
