Architects Elizabeth Ranieri and Byron Kuth arrived in the Bay Area just prior to the Loma Prieta Earthquake and established Kuth/Ranieri Architects in 1990. Their work was largely influenced by the uniqueness of the region--its culture, exceptional beauty, and landscape. They have split their time over the last two decades between teaching, building, and research and have produced a broad spectrum of work, from small-scaled objects and installations, to architectural and urban design proposals investigating more universal problems of building, culture, and global environments.
